Off on another adventure to Nova Scotia, Canada

We packed up Bum's Rest Poor- mans Motor Home and left approx. 10am. Nothing but R-A-I-N....... UGG!!!!  After stopping for fuel, we called it a night in a Walmart parking lot approx. 8pm in South Portland, Maine.
August 16, 2011   Woke up early and drove down to Cracker Barrel breakfast.  More R-A-I-N, and more RAIN.  By noon we crossed over the border from I-95 from Houlton, Maine to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia. Customs was a breeze. Trailers have their own line, so we bumped past all the cars. Time change here. We are now 1 hour ahead of New Jersey.  Nothing but road and road and beautiful hills and valleys. Around 7pm we stopped for fuel and I made sandwiches. We drove another hour and stopped at Windsor. The place where ice hockey was invented. (a little info). We stayed in a truck stop, early night.
August 17, 2011...On the road approx. 8am. We got off Rt. 101 and took the scenic Rt. 1 through the little towns. Very small roads with fast speed limits. That was kind of crazy. Wayne had to drive slower because the truck starts to rock, anyway to crazy. Lots of hills, turns, mountains to climb, but we made it to Parker's Cove. Staying at The Cove for 2 nights overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

Big hill behind the truck approx. 30ft. then it drops off another 30ft to the ocean.

We walked to the commercial fishing pier next door and across the street we bought haddock at the fish market. We cooked it up on the George Forman with fillet Mignon and sides. Yummy.

Tonights sunset.....Ok, dishes are washed and time for a movie.
