Traveling company on Bum's Rest.....

Alarm went off at 6:30am. Wayne took Sailor over for his walkie and picked up his cousin Martin, and two of his children, Kyla 7 and Mason 5. I think by 8:30am we were ready to get underway. The kids waved at their Mom and little brother Jaden 3 on the dock. Amanda, Martin's wife, which is 9 months pregnant is driving to Vero Beach later. What a trooper!!
Here they come...

Just leaving Stuart, it was cloudy.

Mason is liking this, watch out Uncle Wayne!

Kyla, with that killer smile :)

The crew

As soon as we were underway the kids were hungry. They had pretzels, goldfish, Easter candy, fruit roll ups, donuts, water and soda and I may have forgotten something here. I won't point my finger at anyone here, Daddy, and it wasn't me. LOL. (Aren't Daddy's Great).

SssSSSssHHhhHHH....Sleeping Beauty!

Can you see the red car in the middle of the picture????? Can you see the people to the right???? Guess who they are????? Their waving at us........Give up?

It's Ralph and Bett. Long story short, we forgot to call when we left the anchorage in Stuart this morning. (don't know why!?!) As soon as I saw the bridge that we were supposed to meet them at, I looked at Wayne and said, we forgot to call Ralph. Man, we messed that up didn't we..:(
Having fun on the bow and looking for Flipper.

We arrived at Vero Beach Municipal Marina approx. 2:45pm. Amanda, Martin's wife, made it there with Jaden. Also, Martin's grandparents, who is Wayne's Mom's sister, who we call Aunt Jean Uncle Chester, also came to see us come in.

After the gang all took a look at Bum's Rest, we went out to Mr. Manatee Restaurant in Vero Beach. It was really nice to see everyone and we had a great time together.
Thank you for dinner Uncle Chester and Aunt Jean.
Off they go,,,, with little Tessy, their tea cup maltese

We are so happy that you Martin, Kyla and Mason could join us for the day on the ICW. It's neat how it all worked out with us being in the area. It was a pleasure having you and the kids. God's Blessing on your birth of your new baby girl coming attraction in a few weeks. It was great seeing everybody again.

What a great day!    (I didn't have to cook!!)
