Leaving Bimini Sands Marina today

We were up at 4:30am. Getting the boat ready, checking weather, waiting to hear from other cruisers’ over at Blue Water Marina in North Bimini. At approx 7’30am we inched are way out of the marina cut, with Sheet Music close behind.

It was a little lumpy at first, but soon turned out to be a wonderful ride. Most of the day their were 5 sailboats together, 3 way back in the distance. Wayne was trolling and caught a fish. He got the fish book out. We are not sure what he caught.. I think it was a bonefish, or mackerel.

Only had another hit and that was it for fishing. By 6:30pm we anchored near flats in the middle of the ocean. All you see is ocean. Five sailboats anchored close.

Wayne had leftovers for dinner, I heated it up in the over for him. I had a can of soup. Wayne was bushed, and slept on deck with Sailor tried to him. They had a big blanket and were warm. I went to bed by 9pm. We also, kept the VHF radio on to talk to each other.
