Pipeline canal anchorage, Southport, NC

We pulled out of Joyner Marina approx 10:15am. A huge freighter pasted us under way. It was smooth traveling today. We arrived at Pipeline canal approx 1:15pm. Mile Maker #311 (for you Dale). South of Southport. There's so many sailboats anchored out here, at least 18 or more. Wayne says more will arrive later. This is the first time this trip that we are anchored.

Wayne put the dinghy in and rowed Sailor over to the little beach. Kathy is cooking tonight. Chicken soup, salad, bread, and strawberries. I stayed here to work on the computer with Kathy, Chuck is going to row me back to my boat later.
