Cape Eleuthera

3-17-2010 We left Highborne Marina this morning at 8am. On the way out this big shipping boat came into the harbor to make deliveries.

Winds were down and smooth waters going around Highborne. What a beautiful day on the water. Wayne decided to try fishing and at one point had 2 lines out. He slowed down to 2knots and he had a hit. Something big jump out, but I couldn’t see what it was. Anyway it was big and took off with a fight. At one point Wayne saw it was a Mahi Mahi. YAHOO! Something that we can eat. It took over a half hour to reel him in. I was driving the boat so he wouldn’t go under us and get tangled. Wayne galfed it and brought It on board. This is the biggest fish he’s ever caught. 3ft long and enough meat for 3 dinners for 4 people.

We are now in Cape Eleuthera Bahamas. We topped off our fuel and took a slip. I had chicken that needed to be eaten, rest of my potato salad , salad and corn. Tomorrow I’ll cook Mahi Mahi.
