Dinner Key, Miami

With the tide ripping, we backed out of the slip .Boy, that was tricky. We had to get a 7:45am bridge opening to go north back through the bridge to the T-dock to get a pump out. Same process south bound opening at 8:45am. So much for having a marina around a bridge. As we are going south, we are looking at mega yachts, mansions these people live in. Holy Cow!
This picture I took going through Miami on the ICW.

I took a crooked picture. But, when this Tiki Bar was waiting for the bridge to open, we thought it was a Island sitting on the north bound side. Until it started moving towards us. It had loud music playing as it was crusing down the ICW.
We arrived at Dinner Key, Miami approx 2:30pm. Mile Marker # l094. We are moored on a ball. The marina dinghy ride isn't very far. They even have a water taxi that will come out to your boat. That's included with the mooring ball. We dinghied in to pay and I took a shower. Wayne waited for me and took Sailor for a walk. They played ball with a baby cocount. He was so proud of that. We came back to the boat and were waiting for Chuck & Kathy to come back to theirs. A cold front came through. This is Sheet Music in the dark. It didn't rain or blow, just cooled way down. Thought for sure we were going to have a thunderstorm.

Kathy cooked tonight. She made steak with mushrooms, parmesan noodles, salad and a berry tart with cream. Everything was soooooooooo good. I helped her, plus did the dishes. Her hand is getting better, but still very swellon.
