Quick get a way from NO-SEE-UMS......

Threw Sailor on shore to do his business. Threw him back on the boat. Tossed the lines and backed out of Elliott Key, all before 8am. Chuck & Kathy already left and dropped anchor. Those little bugs (no-see-ums) must be all mouth. They were coming through the screens. No getting away from them little monsters last night and this morning. And we thought N.J. greenheads were tuff!!!


So, as we are motoring along we are making coffee. The ICW is choppy today, but the sun is hot.

Now, do you think he' s comfortable? Silly Sailor went to sleep.

                                                                                                                                                                                We arrived at Mangrove Marina approx 2:30pm. Mile Marker #1150.0 We both needed fuel, gas for the ginny and a pump out. Afterwards, Kathy came over to ask me if I wanted to walk half a mile to the post office and grocery store.  Sure, I'll go. Well, we missed the post office by 30 minutes. But, we did manage to get cardboard boxes from the dollar store to pack up the clothes she's sending home, and a small box for our Lori. We will walk back tomorrow to mail everything. Ended up bringing a shopping cart back to the marina. (Everytime we do that I think Bag Ladies).   Will take that back tomorrow, also.

I cooked tonight. Hamburgers, homemade carrot salad, chips and carrot cake. Oh, Kathy brought over crab dip.
